An Introduction To Our Centre     OurCentre96dpi 1.2

Dementia Friends: All staff at Our Centre are Dementia Friends, which means that we have learnt a bit more about what it's like to live with dementia and the little ways in which we can help to be part of a dementia friendly community. We established as an organisation in 1981 and were originally known as Kirkby Volunteer Centre.

In October 2006 we became a company limited by guarantee and changed our name to Our Centre. We now mainly focus on the development of older peoples’ services, community transport and volunteering opportunities.

Mission Statement

Our Centre works in partnership with voluntary and statutory organisations to provide a trusted service delivery for the people of Ashfield, and be accessible to all.

A small annual registration fee is required, which enables members to access to our activities and services. You can download the latest membership form here. >>> [ 2019-20 Membership Form ]
